A home inspection in Illinois has a defined scope under the Home Inspector License Act (225 ILCS 441/). Radon testing, sewer scoping and our other services fall outside that scope, so we offer them as separate services alongside the inspection rather than folding them into it.

Radon testing is $275. We place a continuous radon monitor in the lowest livable level of the home for the testing period and give you a clear reading against the EPA action level. It can be added to a home inspection or booked on its own.
Sewer scoping is $350. We push a camera through the main line and show you exactly what is happening underground — roots, cracks, offsets, or standing water — with video and notes in your report.
The combined radon and sewer package starts at $500, which saves you about $125 versus booking the two separately. It is priced from there and tailored to the property, because a 1920s bungalow with an original clay lateral is a different job than a ten-year-old build.
